Have a Holly Jollywood Christmas Party!

Yesterday Disney announced their Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom, BUT the big news is that they are ADDING another party! For the first time, Hollywood Studios will be hosting Jollywood Nights. This is a separately ticketed event ranging from $159-$179. On these nights:
November: 11, 18, 20, 27, 29
December: 4, 6, 16, 18, 20
8:30 Pm- 12:30 PM
Things to get excited for:
Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! Is returning! This is a light show firework extravaganza inspired by the ADORABLE Disney short films: Prep and Landing and Prep and Landing Naughty Vs. Nice. (If you haven’t seen either of them, do yourself a favor and go watch them immediately after reading this article.)
Meet and Greets! Ms. Piggy, Kermit the Frog, Powerline Max, Phineas and Ferb, Edna mode, The Fab Five, and I’m willing to be a few more surprise guests will pop up! Fair warning, these character meet and greets usually get pretty long lines, so if you see a shorter one, DON’T wait, and hop in line.
Shortened Ride wait times! Instead of waiting for hours in the heat for Slinky Dog Dash, or having to buy a Lightning Lane to get onto Rise of the Resistance, you’ll be able to get onto these rides quickly because of the limited capacity! *Rise of the Resistance will have a virtual queue for the event. I, for one, am completely excited to ride Toy Story Midway Mania on repeat!
PhotoPass Snapshots! There will be different photopass offerings with magic shots throughout the park and FREE downloads are included with your ticket!
Hollywood Glam Parties! There will be two different party locations with limited space. The first is a jazz lounge at The Hollywood Brown Derby. Honestly I don’t think I’ll be swinging by this one. It doesn’t sound like something two young kids would be into, and I’m not a huge jazz fan. I do love the theming of glitzy Hollywood though. The second party is “an other-worldly soiree at The Hollywood Tower Hotel Courtyard.- Disney Parks Announcement”. This one, I would love to check out! I love Tower of Terror and would like to see how they handle Christmas there.
Unique Food and Drink Offerings! Spicy Korean Chicken on a Mini Funnel Cake, colorful Christmas Tree Cookie Stack, and classic cocktails and holiday beverages! I love a good food offering and I will most definitely be checking these out!
While I know that $159-$179 is a HUGE cost to attend this party, there’s nothing more holiday to me than Disney. Hollywood Studios is my favorite park for Christmas decorations and I was so excited to hear that they were creating a whole party at Hollywood Studios! I am so excited to have shorter wait times, I know my kids will love meeting all the unique different characters, and just the feeling of Christmas at Disney! I am here for it! Are you?
